| A few years ago, we designed a poster and took the art to a printer. The printer asked what we meant by "Optima 18/24 x 72" in the margin. "We have computers now. We use inches." He's out of buisness, and people don't spec type in inches. You don't need to understand how to spec type but it is very helpful when you try, you get it right. |
